You never realize you have something good until it’s either gone/out of your life or you’ve fucked up. It’s hard to make those realizations when you are with a person or have something everyday. Relationship-wise, it’s harder to make the connection that the perfect thing is right in front of you. Why? Cause you don’t appreciate them and the relationship as much as before OR you just got bored OR time was just not on your side. Sometimes you have to make the regrettable mistakes to realize that what you have is perfect.
I know you keep asking me if this is what I want. And I have to say, just like you, at this moment in time no but certainly in my future I want you in it. I know what I want, I know what I need, and I know what I have to do to get there. It’s just for us the timing is not on our side. We need to do what we need to do to sufficiently get us what we need. Then we can finish the final part… What we want. Just for now we must go our separate ways-ish.
You know… People ask me why I am still with you and unfortunately it’s too complicated for them to understand, so I don’t even answer them. We have something good… People just don’t see it. Yeah we do couple stuff and we even do single people stuff but it’s because we are able to understand and be open about it. I was this to work and I know that I like where it’s going. We get to do our own things now and hopefully a couple years from now we’ll be exclusive. (:
It’s just a complicated thing. But in reality, whether it’s complicated or simple if it’s perfect then don’t let it go. Fight for it. Even if it takes you an eternity to figure it out by making a shitload of mistakes. Fight for it. It will be worthwhile in the end.
